She participated in the Summer 2023 internship at Solimar International, assisting the USAID Ecotourism Activity project team develop website and social media content, blog articles, and other technical writing to support Sustainable Tourism Development in the Greater Sundarbans region of Bangladesh.

Mithu is the owner/operator of Dhaka City Tours and is the Social Enterprises Specialist for USAID Ecotourism Activity. His work with USAID through the Bangladesh Ecotourism and Conservation Alliance (BECA) includes coordinating and training operations for GSETS, as well as leading GSETS monthly webinars, EcoGuide and Sustainable Tourism Business Criteria training programs.
Roxana Wang is a 2024 graduate from UC Berkeley studying law. She participated in the Autumn 2023 internship at Solimar International, assisting the USAID Ecotourism Activity project team draft the Bangladesh Forest Department's Sundarbans Ecotourism Master plan and developed website and social media content to support Sustainable Tourism Development in the Greater Sundarbans region of Bangladesh.

Safaa Chardi, a PhD student of Geotourism in Morocco, focuses on sustainable tourism practices that both showcase and conserve geological sites, supporting the economic and cultural development of local communities. As a Summer 2024 Solimar International intern, she contributed to the development of digital content to support sustainable tourism initiatives in the Greater Sundarbans.
Shakil Ahmed, a dedicated Forestry graduate student at Khulna University, is passionate about sustainable forest management. His internship experience at Bangladesh Ecotourism and Conservation Alliance (2022-2023) and Solimar International (2024) fueled his interest in nature-based tourism and protected area management. Currently, Shakil is actively involved in a research project exploring innovative governance strategies for sustainable forest management in Bangladesh.
