Pugmark Tours & Travels started it's journey in 2010 with a professional team of workers born and brought up in the midst of the world's largest mangrove, the Sundarbans. Pugmark's policy to involve local people in the tourism sector reflects the company's strong commitment to environment and social development in the fringe area of the forest. 

A member of the Tour Operators Association of Bangladesh (TOAB) and Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Pugmark's principle objective is to assist professional groups visiting the Sundarbans and the fascinating coastal areas of Bangladesh. Pugmark is equipped with modern facilities to provide tailor-made tours to groups of scientists, researchers, environmentalists, writers, photographers and tourists alike.

About our Boat:  M.L. Bawali

Wood Cutters of the Sundarbans are called Bawali. The in this instance, M.L. Bawali is a 20 meters long, fully air-conditioned beautiful tourist boat especially designed and built for Sundarbans Expeditions. Bawali has 3 decks, lower deck is for accommodation, wash area. The master bridge, the main lounge and the kitchen are on the middle deck and the upper deck is for observation and relaxation. A wooden country boat for activities in the forest and a speedboat for emergency use always accompany Bawali.


About our Boat:  M.B. Mawali

Mawali, means the Honey Collectors of the Sundarbans. M.B. Mawali is a 13-meter long traditional wooden houseboat with all the basic modern amenities. Mawali's low height gives a more intimate perspective of the forest and its wildlife, while it's smaller size allows it to venture deeper into the forest. Mawali is the only boat in the Sundarbans that uses solar energy for utility power.
